After many years of production and refinement the BSK 20 series has involved into a highly specialized machine of modular design. Boring units are available to bore from the top, bottom and horizontally. Standard 32mm and custom boring spindle gear boxes are available.
Sizing operations can be performed. Profiles may be machined on the edges of parts. Additionally, dowel insertion or insertion of other types of hardware fittings is possible.
Many variants are possible, but the basic concept of the machines is in coordinance with the BSK design.
The following specification descriped SMM's possibilities for special machines, working on rails, panels and drawerparts. By example of a BSK 20/5 (five stations).

Mechanical Description  The BSK 20 has a fabricated steel frame for supporting the horizontal and vertical aggregates and the part feed mechanism. The "5" designation notes a machine with five processing stations. Each station can be fitted with a number of different spindle drive motors and spindle gear boxes, aggregates inserters, etc. . Depending on the requirements of the customer.

Undimensioned precutted parts gets individvally sized exactly.	Upper and lower end size edges gets bevelled by milling aggregates.	Two horizontal drilling aggregates with an individual number of drilling heads realize the drillings for two different dowel sizes (length and widthness).	Two different horizontal glueing and dowelling systems are able to glue and insert dowels of two different dowel sizes.	This "BSK 20" is equipped with 7 variable adjustable rear drilling aggregates. The parts get fixed by a down swiftable workbase and then returned to the outfeed magazine in the lower part of the machine.

• Parts length min. 250 mm - max. 2.500 mm and Parts width min. 40 mm - max. 200 mm
• In- and outfeed magazines for appr. 20 parts
• Dust extraction equipment and noise reduction hoods
• All adjustments can be done manual or automatically, always by digital read out.
• All left- and right hand aggregates can get swifted up to 20° degrees by motoric drive.
