May we introduce ourselves: We are SMM Sondermaschinenbau Medebach GmbH - a reliable and competent supplier of special machinery for the woodworking industry. SMM was established on May 1, 1993 by a take-over of a local private company with more than 70 years of old tradition. The factory formerly was founded as a second production line from the WEEKE Company (Herzebrock). Special machinery has been developed and manufactured in Medebach, Germany for more than 25 years, which is now subject to continuous further development and extension by SMM. SMM employs 35 members of staff and is a high-performanced and flexible supplier making available to you all the know-how of its human resources in design, construction of controls and manufacture. Al your requirements will be analysed prior to finding a comprehensive solution. Approaches will be developed, designs prepared and machinery and equipment manufactured by using modern machinery. At your request, any machines supplied will be assembled and commissioned at your premises. It goes without saying that supplies will include training of operators.

Service/ Control

For the electronic control we use the products from "NUM", "Siemens" or "Omron". For complexed door processing, cycled machines and for processing centers we utilize "NUM" controls.  For the case of unclear service situations we are able to realize a quick service, if all our machines are able to be tooled up with a "Tele Service Device" if you ask for it. So it will be possible to check the complete electronic machine control by a "modem device" and to change or to substitude the programming.

Cooperation Contract MAKA <-> SMM

In 1996 the Max Mayer Maschinenbau GmbH and SMM - Sondermaschinenbau Medebach GmbH decided to cooperate. This contract allows to produce high powered automatic machines for the door industry. Each partner sires his best parts of equipment (mechanics, electronics and also in programming) and "know how" to earn a long lasting and well working machine.
